I also think it’s terrible to just allow a kid to go off with another parent just because they’re mad at that parent. We know the nuclear family consist of two parents loving their kids equally and working for their kids Best interest. I don’t think that’s great at all. I don’t think young kids five or 14 years old. Should have a say where they want to live unless there’s physical harm or trauma one parent. What I’ve been experiencing in my own divorce is my ex-wives manipulation of my sons. And they’re playing both sides of the fence. Kids gravitate to the less authoritative parents. The mother of my child was granted supervised visitation for 1 hr and 30 mins on Friday and Saturday. DHS told me that the grand parents will supervise the 1 hr and 30 mins visitation. DHS worker picked up my child for the visitation. 2 hrs later, I contacted the grand parents and they told me give them 30 more mins and the visitation is over. 8 hrs later, No call no show on the grand parents. My child lives with me and I have physical custody. Is this a form of custodial Interference?

I will never understand parents letting middle schoolers hang out alone at night, that seems to be a very common thing in this community and is the one common theme from all the stories coming out of this place. how in the world do you host a child in your home and have no idea they are sleeping in your yard.

My non-custodial ex tried this against court orders and stood inside day care (who called me in) and he called police. We discussed in the entrance with two officers for 30 minutes. The officers first said „if you don’t object this pick-up then the day care is the problem“. No! The father is the problem when he picks up early! Officers tried to talk us into discussing a compromise, seriously?? Thanks to my legal experience and calm demeanor we could finally clarify that he was in the wrong and was not to use emergency calls to get his way. I‘m still shocked that police needed me to explain this to them (and that they arrive to help fathers within 20 minutes while mothers & babies under domestic violence have to wait 2 hours)

Suggested route of action for a father, who has been subjecting 13-year-old child to intense domestic violence of non-physical nature in recent court ordered visitation past 30 months, resulting in child becoming and having suicidal idealization’s, mother is currently preparing an affidavit to seek emergency sole custody, and cannot recommend any parenting time at all, due to the mental state of the father as he refuses to concede to any of his behaviors, refuses to acknowledge the harm he’s causing the child, however, has enough insight into his behaviors to threaten the child in private to not tell anyone what he is saying to her, Behaviors consist of chronic gaslighting and distortions, acts of sabotage sleep deprivation, removal and destruction of her property. He uses tantrums average and silent treatments to enforce compliance and force the child to adopt his distorted thinking , and also threats of murder by decapitation if anyone crosses him. Because the father is strategic, and because this abuse mimics sexual abuse in the way that it is hidden and behind closed doors, and it’s only executed in private, along with my daughter, has been difficult to evident. I have only confessions from my child and the way it has affected her behavior. And because the father has threatened the child, not to tell me things he has said to her I have not been able to address them with him when my daughter would return home . I would, however text him to report to him the change of behavior in my daughter and ask him if he had any idea why she would be acting such away to let him know how his behaviors affected our child without directly revealing with my daughter, told me. The father just ignores my texts, Times when I was more specific, he would accuse me of having a mental illness times that I caught him, and we questioned him about his behaviors, questioning him about his lies and acts of sabotage against a child . Sadly, I have had to let these behaviors play out and focus on the way they negatively impacted my daughter. I was not able to even call child protective services, because that would only be inflammatory, because my daughter more risk when she was alone with him. I have not been able to afford a lawyer and I’ve had to do this on my own. My daughter does not want to see her father anymore and she has suffered a total loss of her identity unable to be around me another unable to be in her home, hates her home hates me hates her dog, but most importantly hates herself and fathers first acoustic and habitually violates the parenting order. It never goes through or deals with me, deals directly with my daughter, and has her full control of him. Now he gets her to disobey me, and the parenting order she’s frightened of him, and unable to stand up to him.
